We’re absolutely thrilled to share some heartwarming news that’ll surely make your day brighter! Our CATA students have rallied together to collect 250 boxes of cereal to donate to Cullman Caring for Kids.
To end the “Hunger Doesn’t Take a Break” initiative students set up the boxes of cereal like dominoes and enjoyed celebrating their amazing work!
A huge shoutout and thanks to each and every student who contributed to this remarkable initiative. Your kindness will undoubtedly make a significant difference in the lives of those in need within our community.

Our Precision Machining students are learning to write a code for creating machined parts using our HAAS control simulators. They are given a blue print of the part and then they use math to figure how much material needs to be removed and then program the code into the Haas controller. We also have other students learning to create parts on our metal lathes. We are excited to learn that we are getting four new metal lathes. Thanks to Dr. Shane Barnette and TJ Franey for writing and acquiring grants for our new lathes. It's a great day for CATA! #wecreate

Our HVAC students are using troubleshooting skills today to repair HVAC units. They are using multimeters and gauges to find problems. This simulates a service call to a customer.
